Our Annual Senior Adult Rally at EBTC

On May 19 we had our Annual Senior Adult Rally at the Ervin Brown Training Center. The day was beautiful and the crowd that turned out was phenomenal! We had approximately 275 people present for this wonderful tradition. The fish was cooked perfectly by Brandon Potts and his awesome team. We were served delicious fried catfish, hushpuppies, french fries and cole slaw. We were also treated to a vast array of scrumptious pies.

We had a grand time of worship with the music and singing by The Geeslin Brothers. These talented men are always a crowd pleaser. This year, I believe they exceeded our high expectations and put on a spectacular performance of glorious gospel tunes and knee slapping good humor. These talented men kept the crowd enthralled and completely entertained. If you missed this event, you should make it a “must do” next year.

The grounds and facilities were spotlessly manicured by Joe Crawford. Joe is one of the greatest blessings X-tended Missions Network is blessed to have. Joe exemplifies the utmost Christlikeness in everything he does. He is truly a man who does everything to the glory of God. Joe works tirelessly and makes his work look effortless and keeps the Ervin Brown Training Center at its best at all times. Did I say we had a huge crowd?! The crowd was extraordinary and I know they were blessed by the beauty surrounding them at the EBTC.

Mrs. Beth Darby and Mrs. Jan Clark came out to the center and worked diligently to make this event a great success. These two ladies love serving each of you and each year they make sure all the details and decorations are perfect before the first participant arrives. These two ladies are such a tremendous blessing to our association. Without them we could not host this annual event successfully. They enthusiastically serve each of you out of a genuine love for Jesus and His people.
I can’t even begin to name all the volunteers who came out and helped make this event run smoothly. I’ll just say a bunch of wonderful volunteers showed up and showed out! Nothing makes me more happy than to see the body of Christ come together and joyfully serve one another. More importantly, Christ is glorified by our humble service and He was certainly glorified by each person who helped.

Did I mention the crowd was awesome?! To you, the crowd who came out and partook of the fine food, music and fellowship, we were so blessed by each of you! Thank you for blessing each of us with your company.

We can’t wait to see you all next year and hope to see others who couldn’t make it this year!
